Being there Counts!! Be seen! Fill out Survey
Tips:
• Be there early! If you want to speak be there at least an hour or more early to sign up.
• Wear a Button! Look for the group at each forum handing out bright orange DD buttons. You can also download the button template from the DD Coalition website and print them off. They should be bright orange. Even if you don’t speak your presence counts!!!
• If you speak, prepare in advance. You will get about three minutes. Be specific, concise and powerful about the budget reductions you are talking about and the potential impact. Ideas for talking points below. Information on reductions below and on http://www.oregonddcoalition.org [2]
• Be courteous! Legislators are just as upset about having to propose reductions as we are.
• Complete the survey and turn it in!!! They will be handing out surveys. This will be an important opportunity to share your concerns and ideas!!!
